Yes, there is a Church of the Lady of the Swans within House Johannsen. Within this Church there is an order of monks. These are swan knights who practice the sexual rites, worships and prays to the Lady and minor goddesses, eat only bread and the occasional vegetable, drinks certain types of juices, leading this spiritual life to keep themselves pure. This gives then a degree of self-mastery -- over their emotions, their will and their bodies where pain or their ability to use more of their 'force of will' is concerned. Swan knights refer to this extra energy as 'faith'. The monks all feel this sort of life to be well worth it when they need that extra edge during battle or other tense situations. Their other function is that of judge for other swan knights, investigating the situations that might lead to discipline by the Johannsen, clearing the swan knight's name or condemning them.Discipline
