Courses
As a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry you
have classes every day of the week. You always have classes with
those in your House and Year plus those of your year from one of
the other three houses. Students all have from Friday noon free.
The courses offered at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
are varied and very different from what muggle schools offer. There
are three types of courses that are offered at Hogwarts School of
Witchcraft and Wizardry: Basic, Electives, and Advanced. In First
Year and Second Year there are required courses that must be taken.
At Third Year a student may choose from a list of electives, and
at Fifth Year a list of Advanced courses may be chosen to continue
a pupil's growth in their chosen field of Specialization. There
are 7 classes per week, with the exception of First Year, which
adds Flying Lessons. Choose wisely because your skill set will follow
your Character into their adulthood and how they cope with a profession
as well as danger in the Rowlingverse.
There are two major exams, other than revisions (finals), that are offered
to students. The first exam is O.W.L.s or Ordinary Wizarding Levels.
This certifies that you have had your basic education and passed.
The exam is administered at the end of Fifth Year. The other exams
are called N.E.W.T.s and these certify that you have passed with
a high level of competency and are ready to assume further training as an Auror
or an entry level position in the Ministry of Magic. This happens at the end of 7th year.
Look on the list to see what is Required as a Basic Course, what you may take for elective
courses at 3rd year and what you will choose in 5th for your 6th and 7th year NEWT classes. Click on the name of the course
and be taken to a description of the course you are looking at.

by the Finnish wizards, whose skill was legendary, they were able
to unlock the power of the voice so that they could sing things
in and out of existence, never had to depend on wands, and when
wands were in use, double the effect of the wand spell. You will
learn how to breathe properly and support the voice, how to listen
to hear the minute stresses in a person's voice so that you might
judge their mood or feelings, not just what they say, and you will
learn to do completely anything with your voice. Several short incantings
in English will be taught and you will learn how to effectively
make your own incantings.
