Two Chapters Done, More On The Way
It's amazing to me that when I get in a story I'm lost with the characters. I laugh at their reactions to things, I am shocked when revelations come all of a sudden, even when I know about them beforehand. It's that deep point of view of the person I am writing about that makes the rest of the world a shock, and makes coming up for air as a writer very difficult. There are times, however, when one of my characters decides to avoid me in order to avoid going through something. Ultimately, it is never about going through something bad or hurtful, but rather going through something that is emotional, something they'd rather be in denial about. Just like us out in the real world humans, our touchy-feely sensitive sides get the better of them. So it is with this knowledge I must go on with my next few chapters. Because, you see, the denial will only get worse before it gets better. She might end up hating me, but I think, in the end, my heroine will come to love me. After all, I did create the love of her life. ;-)
