My cancer is considered Grade 1 and Stage 1: Literally the oncologist said that I could go away from treatment for 2 years and the cancer would probably stay in the same area.

What gets me is, he said I got uterine cancer because of my weight.

Normally, I get all militant when I hear that, especially from a doctor. Many members of the medical community try to frighten overweight people by telling them they can die at any minute by looking at a coupon for a burger.

But, when he explained how the hormones are effected by my weight and how that helped to create an imbalance that leads to the cancer growing, I stopped being militant and realized it did make sense. It's also the fact that I got uterine cancer from being fat that makes it highly unlikely to ever die from it.

I'm still going to lose weight and take care of myself!

Anyway, surgery is going to be scheduled within the month. I'll keep you posted.
